Consumer ALERT

This is a Consumer Alert for people considering replacing or having their air-conditioner serviced in the Phoenix, AZ metro area. The company Alaskan Home Services changed their name from Alaskan Quality Services. The only reason I can see for this is to make it difficult for a consumer to know their true record. As of today 2-6-2009, Their old License number is revoked with 8 resolved complaints, 1 open, and 1 unpaid civil penalty. Under their old name, with the BBB there are 78 resolved complaints. Their new license is clean for now, however they already have 3 complaints with the BBB on their new name. Please verify this information for yourself at www.azroc.gov and www.arizonabbb.org
